Founded by longtime friends Trevor Thompson and Taylor Foss, Nootka is built on years of shared experiences in the mountains, deserts, forests, and canyons. From backcountry ski tours and canyoneering expeditions to hunting trips and long days on the bike, we’ve learned that the right gear can make the difference between a good day and a great one.

That’s why we started Nootka: to design and build innovative outdoor equipment that helps people stay out longer, go farther, and enjoy every moment in the wild.
